Ukraine House on Ash street is now closed. We were a small Olympic venue with a big heart and from all accounts very successful. Like the Olympics, we started out with a number of setbacks, but thanks to our volunteers’ hard work, we accomplished a successful run. We had the opportunity to meet the Ukraine Olympic organizing committee, Olympic athletes, Ukrainian guests from across Canada, tourists and neighbourhood families. Hopefully we got to know each other better, and will stay in touch through our volunteer experience. Sincere thanks to everyone who helped and everyone who supported us.
